In addition to our own community development work, BeadforLife has given support and financial grants to a limited number of other non-profit groups doing work in the areas of poverty eradication.  To date we have supported the following organizations:

The Pediatric Infectious Disease Clinic, Mulago Hospital

The Pediatric Infectious Disease Clinic provides medical and psycho-social care for children living with HIV/AIDS. BeadforLife sponsored their HIV+ Teen Club which has 200 members. We also provide vocational training for impoverished out-of-school youth from this program.

Partnership for
Youth Empowerment
(PYE Global)

PYE Global partners with communities across the world to provide transformative programs for youth. PYE Global's Creative Community Model combines the expressive arts with motivational learning to develop creativity, personal power, cross-cultural competency and skills for leading purposeful lives.

Hope Ward at the International Hospital of Kampala

Through this grant a bed is sponsored at the International Hospital of Kampala, one of the finest hospitals in Uganda. BeadforLife refers impoverished people in need of hospitalization and complicated surgery or chemotherapy.

Teso Safe Motherhood Project

BeadforLife’s grant has supported the Teso Safe Motherhood Project (TSMP) in Soroti, Uganda, primarily in the area of laboratory and family planning services. TSMP provides services to former internally displaced persons as well as other vulnerable and destitute people. More than half of their patients are children younger than 15.
